As we approach the end of May and Mental Health Awareness Month, it’s a good time to reflect on the benefits of jiu-jitsu. Coming to class is one of the best forms of stress relief. The focus required while training and grappling helps us stay in the moment and not dwell on our worries. Dedeco and all of the instructors can attest to witnessing positive changes in students. As skill progresses so does confidence and self esteem.
